How to clean your Halo Headband?

Most athletes only start dealing with headband cleaning when it loses its shape, starts to smell unpleasant, or simply doesn't work as it used to. Yet, one of the most important parts of the Halo Headband is the special SweatBlock technology, which, with proper use and cleaning, can effectively wick away sweat from your eyes for a long time.

Halo headbands are made from special, quick-drying and antibacterial material, so aggressive washing or strong chemicals are not necessary. The manufacturer primarily recommends hand rinsing and natural drying, as overly strong washing programs or a tumble dryer can damage the patented silicone SweatBlock strip.

Many people simply rinse it while showering after an intense workout and then let it air dry. This is often perfectly sufficient for daily use. However, if it becomes heavily soiled, gentle washing at a low temperature, without spinning or tumble drying, is recommended.

In the video below, you can see the correct cleaning and maintenance process to ensure your Halo Headband remains just as effective during training, running, cycling, or competition for a long time.
